Dental Crown Materials:
Crowns are made from a variety of materials:
We at Bali Dentist in Seminyak, Kuta, Bali have a choice of
porcelain metal infused OR Zirconia.
Zirconia produces one of the strongest crowns in dentistry
world wide and are mainly used for the back molar teeth since
these take most of the chewing loads. But since they lack in
the ability to be cosmetically friendly we steer away from
zirconia crowns for the front or anterior teeth.
Instead porcelain becomes the choice for the 'smile' teeth since
they can enhance the aesthetic look and can mimic more easily the
natural colour of enamel and dentine.

Normally 2 dental visits are needed to complete a crown treatment.
